Victorian Home Refresh

We’ve seen plenty of less-than-optimal home renovations in our day, so when we came across this flawlessly reimagined Victorian Melbourne terrace home, featured on Homes to Love, we pretty much stopped dead in our tracks. Architect/owner duo Annick Houle and Stephen O’Connor of O’Connor and Houle Architecture maintained many of the home’s period details, such as its intricate façade and elegant banister, but integrated elegant modern additions, like a suspended fireplace and swinging glass doors. Furnishings are laid-back, comfortable, and contemporary, with a bit of rusticity, making it one of the most inviting family homes we’ve seen.
