[Nailed It]

Sometimes it’s the finer details that make all the difference to your outfit, and just like accessories, nail colours are an essential piece of the puzzle. From vibrant brights to contemporary cools, ensure your nails compliment your wardrobe this autumn with my round up of the season’s hottest hues.

1. OPI, PEACE AND LOVE
A nod to the autumn/winter’s metallic trend, OPI has produced yet another sell out polish. In a medium density formula, dark grey metallic hues are combined with a duo-chrome shimmer that shifts from teal to mauve — perfect for the party season.

2. NARS, GALATHEE
Elegant and easy to apply, Nars brings you Galathee, a cool toned grey. A hit at Fashion Week this season, this contemporary colour is an easy-to-wear alternative to classic neutrals.

3. YSL, NO. 40 SEPIA 7E ART
A deep plum shade with a high-shine finish, this limited edition colour is the third release from YSL’s autumn/winter collection. In the dark it appears black, in bright light the rich burgundy hues shine through.

4. CHANEL, MYSTERIOUS
Chanel mysterious is a deep, dark olive green with a creamy finish. Rich enough for just one coat, this khaki hue is perfect for everyday wear.

5. BUTTER LONDON, SILLY BILLY
A pumpkin orange polish that is bordering on neon, Silly Billy will brighten up your look on the greyest of winter days. Opt for one coat for a subtle tint, or two for a bold opaque statement.

6. ESSIE, VESTED INTEREST
Already a big hit this season, Vested Interest is a mid-toned, dusty teal. Essie’s quick dry, easy application formula is perfect to wear day or evening.
