[All About The Dress]

Saturday 8am – A knock at my bedroom door. It’s my over-excited mother.

“Are you awake? Are you ready? Are you excited?” Whispered at about 1000 miles an hour.

Bright and early Saturday morning my dear mother and I went wedding dress shopping (eeeek!).

I’ve always dreamed of walking down the aisle in the quintessential white dress, but when presented with rails upon rails of potential perfect gowns I would be lying if I said I wasn’t totally and utterly over-whelmed.

Luckily I had one of the nicest young sales assistants to help me in my search. I’ve got to be careful how much I divulge on here, as my husband-to-be will see, but I can say this…

I tried on a lot of dresses, varying styles, shapes and cuts, but my number one remained the same throughout. Now I need to commence operation “Wedding Dress” and save up for my dream dress.

I should now say a big thank you to Miss Bush Bridal Wear for their hospitality.

To wet your appetite, here are some amazing gowns to have a scan over (via Marie Claire).
